Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Manager, Business Development to drive growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, particularly within the event management or related industries. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through strategic market research and outreach.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients to drive business growth.

Create and present compelling proposals, aligning Power Play’s capabilities with client needs.

Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and closing strategies.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to maintain a competitive edge.

Represent Power Play at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand visibility.
What We’re Looking For:

3–5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the events, hospitality, or related industries.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a relevant field (preferred).

A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong networking skills with an established industry contact network.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business plans.

Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive results independently.
